The 3-day program of the EASTLOG Forum will offer a wide range of conferences and workshops, as well as a specialized exhibition with additional presentations and seminars, excursions to important logistic centers, and 6th Logistic Business Mixer.
Conferences and workshops
The first two days of the forum, dedicated primarily to conferences and workshops, will especially focus on the case studies of successful projects realized in various logistic branches and industrial and business fields in the Central Europe. The forum will invite a lot of experts and important European presenters. The ceremonial opening of the program will be held by Petr Šlegr, the Deputy Minister of Transport. The first day will feature presentations of Petr Kunc, Distribution Manager of Nestlé Česko, Egil Møller Nielsen, Senior Director of Logistics Europe & Asia at the LEGO Company, Ferdinand Hlobil, the partner of Cushman & Wakefield, etc. The topics will include e.g. the performance measurement of the logistic service providers, automation of the logistics-related cost control, legal issues in logistics or panel discussion of the road toll. The second day will be dominated by four workshops, presented e.g. by Andreas Windischbauer of the Austrian company Dr. Franz Feurstein Gesellschaft, Milan Thorovský of Continental Automotive Systems, or Katarína Koržová of GEFCO Slovakia. The morning part of the program will offer the workshops aimed at the industrial logistics (such as the case study focused on the pre-production logistics at Lucas Varity or the complex solution of the automated high bay warehousing at the Feurstein production plant in Austria) and new IT solutions in logistics (e.g. the panel discussion of the EDI communication or the case study of the on-line warehousing system of ACCOM Czech). The afternoon workshops will focus on the transport solutions and cooperation (such as the case study aimed at the optimization of the in-house transport at IVECO Czech Republic, or the panel discussion of the supply chain relations between transport agents and customers) and the optimization of the logistic costs (the case study of the optimization of package flow at PSA Trnava, or the implementation of the transport solution SAP-CarLo at Bork).
