Press Release from November 27, 2006
Eastlog celebrates its jubilee year with a host of innovations!
The jubilee tenth annual EASTLOG international logistics and transportation forum is once again in the preparation phase. Next year’s festivities will take place on April 18-20, 2007 at the TOP Hotel Praha.
The selection of a new venue is in response to constantly growing interest in the EASTLOG forum and the resulting need to come up with innovative forum concepts. The change in location, however, does not mean a change in organization. ATOZ EVENT continues to bring you this exciting conference, and has prepared a number of innovative programs to enhance the forum. EASTLOG will continue to provide the traditional mainstays of previous years in which logistics professionals from all over Central Europe meet to share their experiences, make important new contacts and exchange views and information on current logistics trends and successful projects in the field of logistics over the least few years. A few additions to this next year’s event will be a logistics job fair and expansion of the Logistics Providers Forum.
Irena Šašková, Events Manager společnosti ATOZ EVENT, comments on some of the changes in next year’s forum:
“In addition to changes in the program, next year we’re expecting big changes in the design of the forum. We are also expanding communication of the event by introducing special newsletters. But the most significant innovation is the creation of a new website that will be more interactive, allowing forum visitors to discuss topics on-line and schedule meetings and interviews with other logistics professionals.”
The diverse three-day program will provide a professional overview and information for the supply chain and logistics managers, developers and other professionals in the fields of freight forwarding, warehousing, distribution and information technology. In addition to a veritable marathon of conference seminars and workshops, participants will have the opportunity to visit a specialized exhibition (approximately 60 exhibitors) and the Logistics Providers Forum (nearly 20 presentations), go on collective tours of select logistics centers and enjoy the festivities at the 6th annual Logistics Business Mixer – a VIP gathering of 350 logistics professionals in an informal setting.
The EASTLOG forum receives media support in a number of professional titles that include Systémy Logistiky, Zboží & Prodej, Svět balení, Dopravní noviny, IT Systems, Doprava a silnice and many more. Once again, next year’s gold sponsor will be GEFCO, a leading provider of complex logistics services.
Participation in the 10th annual EASTLOG forum is expected to reach 1000 logistics professionals from all over Central Europe.
