The three-day EASTLOG forum also offered conference and workshop participants and trade-fair exhibitors the possibility to choose between three excursions to select logistics centers. On Friday, April 20th, buses transported participants to tour number one which visited VF Czech Services, NorthPoint Park in Zdiby and the TESCO distribution center in Postřižín. Tour number two included the dm drogerie-markt warehouse and the JIPOCAR logistics complex, both of which are located in Jihlava. Tour number three offered participants the possibility to visit the Maersk Logistics center (FOXCONN) in Pardubice.
Visitors were greeted at each destination with refreshments and a program of tours and presentations. Interpreters were provided for the presentation portion of the tours.
Logistics center excursions have become an integral and highly anticipated part of the EASTLOG forum. Visitors can expect more interesting excursions to logistics centers at the next EASTLOG forum.
